Who you are:
- Experienced: Degree level candidate, 4+ years of prior experience in a client-facing project or account management role is essential. Medical communications experience including prior experience as a junior account lead would be desirable but not essential
- Client-Focused: You have a desire, even an obsession, to provide a superior customer experience to all clients of Twist Medical
- Excellent Communication skills: Attention to accuracy and language resulting in factual, clear, and effective communications with clients
- Team player: You enjoy working in collaborative teams with account staff, writers, designers and service partners

What you’ll be doing:
The Manager of Customer Experience role is a key role that combines competencies of account management; budgeting, project management, financial acumen, customer experience and an obsession with “attention to detail.”
In addition to having the relevant qualifications and background, we are seeking a creative, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated individual to join the team. This role oversees all aspects of client service on assigned account(s), responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with client, managing client expectations, and working effectively with your Twist Team. Day-to-day specifics:
Strategy:
- Forms close partnerships with clients in order to have a deep understanding of client strategy and goals
- Creative thinker who has a strong delivery focus and demonstrates strong decision-making and critical thinking ability
- Assumes responsibility for the development of proposals, tactical plans, forecast budgets and pitch documents in some instances
- Takes a leading role in organic business development for assigned accounts
- Participate in cross-functional discovery sessions across client accounts to identify innovative solutions
Market knowledge:
- Forms strong partnerships with scientific writers and directors to develop a deep understanding of the top-line therapeutic areas of assigned accounts in order to serve as a point of authority and mentor for advice
- Has a good understanding of medical affairs and commercial functions within Pharma/Biotech
- Demonstrates knowledge of healthcare regulations and its implications
Management:
- Work in partnership with our Senior Customer Experience Team to support account planning and identifying opportunities for account growth
- Work in partnership with account scientific lead to ensure appropriate content development for deliverables-(requirement for content oversight will depend on the nature of the business being delivered
- Takes on wider leadership responsibilities by traveling to customer locations in support of client projects and relationship building
Finances & Operations:
- Develops and manages client budgets
- Proactively keeps abreast of client needs and raises awareness when projects change, and budgets require re-working
- Has a thorough knowledge of client contract and procurement process
- Makes informed decisions involving team workload and prioritization
- Identifies process improvements in collaboration with team members

The Senior Medical Writer role is both a tactical and strategic role that combines competencies of scientific writing, reviewing, analytical expertise, strategic consulting, and an obsession with “attention to detail.”
In addition to having the relevant qualifications and scientific background, we are seeking a creative, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated individual to join the team. This is an opportunity to join a team that aims to develop one of the best medical communications companies in the world. You’ll be part of a fast-growing company, building a world-class brand.
Day-to-day specifics:
- Develop client deliverables including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slides, strategic gap analyses, scientific platforms, advisory board presentations, key literature summaries, patient lay summaries, educational symposia content, publication plans, and communication plans
- Review work of other writers for accuracy, language, and flow to ensure that all content is of the highest quality
- Leading and delivering high-quality scientific content
- Work closely with customers to identify, prioritize, and quantify key business drivers and ways in which Twist Medical can help customers advance these drivers
- Assist ‘Customer Experience’ team with account planning and identifying opportunities for account growth
- Help develop and deliver compelling and winning business pitch presentations that accelerate our growth
- Participate in cross-functional discovery sessions to identify innovative solutions
- Potential travel to customer locations in support of client projects
